This flat top vintage antique steamer trunk is a rare find from the early 1870’s, about 150 years old. It belonged to my great, great, grandfather so it’s nice to know the history of this piece dating back to its origins. The leather strap handles on each side have deteriorated, but it’s sturdy and in good shape for its age. It measures 34” wide x 22” deep x 23” high. It has been left in its original condition for a vintage accent piece, but could be restored for a different look. The flat top lends itself to a piece of glass for a coffee table or end table, or add to the end of a bed, an entry foyer, or any part of a rustic arrangement for your décor. It’s a sentimental family piece, but I have no place for it. Instead of having it sit in the garage, I’d rather see someone enjoy it who loves old stuff like I do.
